Riobet Sports Betting Rules

These rules govern all bets placed with Riobet on sports events. By placing a bet you agree to be bound by these terms and any applicable laws and regulations.

1. General provisions

1.1 Definitions

  • Event — a discrete sports contest or available market announced by Riobet.
  • Market — a specific aspect of an event that can be bet on (eg, winner, total, handicap).
  • Bet — a customer’s selection confirmed by the transfer of funds intended to seal a bet contract.
  • Stake — the amount wagered on a bet.
  • Odds — the multiplier used to calculate potential winnings at the time the bet is accepted.
  • Settlement — the process of paying or refunding a bet based on the event outcome and applicable rules.
  • Live bet — a bet placed on an event while it is in progress.

1.2 Bet acceptance and accounts

Bets are accepted before an event starts for prematch wagers and during the event for live wagers. Riobet maintains two balances on a customer account: a main balance used for wagering and a bonus balance that may be used only as permitted by promotions. Bets may be rejected or voided at Riobet's discretion, and any rejection will result in a prompt refund of the stake.

1.3 Validity and errors

Riobet may void or adjust bets in cases of palpable errors such as incorrect event details or odds, or if a bet is placed after the start of the event. If a live bet is registered and later found invalid due to an error, Riobet may cancel the bet and refund the stake. Customers bear responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of their bets before confirmation.

1.4 Event changes and cancellations

Riobet reserves the right to void all bets on an event if there is a change to the venue or other material circumstances that affect the integrity of the event. In cases where an event is postponed, Riobet may allow bets to stand or void them in its sole discretion, subject to applicable market rules. If an event is abandoned and not resumed within a defined period, Riobet may settle decided markets and void undecided ones.

1.5 Fraud, integrity and regulatory cooperation

Riobet may suspend settlement or withhold payouts where there is suspicion of fraud, manipulation or illegal activity. Riobet may report suspected integrity breaches to the relevant authorities and governing bodies and await their verdict before settling or voiding bets.

1.6 System interruptions and access

If the betting system is interrupted, Riobet will apply standard checks such as funds availability and odds accuracy. Customers should login when the system is available to confirm bet acceptance status. Riobet may accept or reject bets based on the state of the account and system status.

1.7 VAR and match decisions

In events where a Video Assistant Referee decision conflicts with the on pitch decision, bets placed after the initial incident and before the final VAR decision may be void if the discrepancy alters the understood state of the match at the time of bet placement. Bets that are not affected by the VAR outcome remain valid. Riobet reserves the right to reverse settlements if a final decision changes the outcome on settled bets and such reversal is made before the match concludes.

1.8 Odds display and rounding

Displayed odds are two decimal places. Total odds are calculated using a sixth decimal digit and rounded to two decimals; the total payout is truncated to two decimal places. Any differences observed are due to these rounding methods.

1.9 Settlement timeframe

The maximum interval between initial settlement and any re-settlement is 30 days.

1.10 Outright markets and Play-or-Pay

Outright markets (short and long term) are subject to a Play-or-Pay rule. If a listed participant cannot take part in the competition for any reason, outright bets stand as lost for all listed participants described in the market. Head-to-head markets are excluded; if a listed participant is replaced by another from the same team, team markets remain valid while individual markets for the removed participant are void.

1.11 Live vs prematch

Riobet offers both prematch and live betting. Live bets may use real time odds that update during the event. Live bets are settled on the results known at the time of event completion or as otherwise provided by market rules. Live bets on athletes not participating in the event are generally invalid unless the market has already been determined.

1.12 Match formats and scope

Riobet supports specified match formats such as 2x25, 2x30, 2x35, 2x40, 2x45 and 3x30. For matches with durations outside 50 to 90 minutes all markets may be voided unless stated otherwise. The platform does not assume responsibility for unexpected format changes and settlement may depend on the stated rules.

1.13 Postponed or interrupted events

If a match is postponed beyond 48 hours from the official start time, Riobet may void or suspend betting on that event. If a match is interrupted and resumed within a defined period, bets may remain valid; otherwise, unsettled outcomes may be returned at odds of 1.00 unless the result is already determined.

2. Types of bets and markets

2.1 Core bet types

Riobet offers Single bets, Express (accumulator) bets, and System bets. A Single bet targets a single market outcome; an Express combines independent outcomes; a System presents multiple accumulators with a shared stake. Winnings are calculated as the product of the stake and the applicable odds for each type, subject to market rules and rounding as described in Section 1.8.

2.2 Conditional bets

Conditional bets consist of a principal bet followed by a series of conditional bets whose stakes are funded from winnings of the previous bet. If the principal bet loses, all conditional bets fail. If the winnings are insufficient to cover subsequent bets, those bets are voided and settled as paid on the principal bet.

2.3 Live betting

Live bets may be offered on markets not yet determined. Odds update in real time and may move before acceptance. Live bets are settled based on outcomes known at the end of the event or as defined by market terms. Claims relating to live bets may be considered up to a specified period after the event start as stated in the promotions policy.

2.4 Player and scorer markets

Scorer markets include First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer and Anytime Goalscorer. Own goals do not count for First Goalscorer unless otherwise stated. If a specified player does not participate or enters after a goal is scored, bets on that player may be void. Rules also apply to related markets such as First/Anytime Scorer with additional conditions for substitutions and retirements as described in the market terms.

3. Market settlements by sport and special cases

3.1 Football and standard markets

Football bets are settled on the normal duration plus stoppage time, unless a market specifies otherwise. If regular time ends in a draw and post match events determine the result, relevant market terms apply. If an event is not concluded or official results are not confirmed, bets may be voided or settled at 1.00 as appropriate.

3.2 Baseball and other sports

For baseball, Moneyline bets are considered decided if a minimum number of innings or specific conditions are met (eg, five innings completed, or 4.5 innings with the home team ahead). Other markets may stand if the required innings are completed or the home team is ahead at the stated point. Similar sport specific rules apply to other leagues and markets as published in market descriptors.

3.3 Tennis

Tennis markets address events such as retirement and disqualification. If a listed starting pitcher changes after a bet is placed in a pitcher line market, the bet follows the Action Line unless a Pitcher Line indicator is present on the betslip. Market outcomes are settled according to official competition rules and the terms stated in the market description.

4. Postponed or interrupted events

4.1 Postponement window

Where an event is postponed beyond 48 hours from the original start time, Riobet may void the event or suspend betting until a new start time is established. If the event resumes within the permitted window, bets may be settled on the resumed result; otherwise, unsettled bets may be voided.

4.2 Continuation and abandonment

If a match is abandoned after it has begun and not resumed within the specified period, settled markets based on known results are retained and undecided markets are voided. In two leg ties, the continuation status applies to the remaining leg as applicable.

5. Account management and disputes

5.1 Age and account integrity

Riobet requires users to be of legal age. Accounts must be unique and maintained in compliance with applicable anti money laundering and identity checks. Multiple accounts may be closed and promotions clawed back if detected.

5.2 Data privacy

Riobet protects personal data in accordance with privacy standards and may share information only where legally required or with regulatory bodies on request.

5.3 Disputes and time limits

Disputes over bet settlements should be raised within the period stated in the market terms or as otherwise published. Riobet will review disputed bets and provide a final decision in a timely manner.

6. Limits

6.1 Minimum and maximum stakes

The minimum stake for all events is set at the amount specified in the sportsbook. Maximum stakes vary by event, sport and market and may be adjusted by Riobet without notice. Riobet may impose additional restrictions on wagering on an event or a market as needed for risk management.

6.2 Payout limits

Riobet may cap winnings per bet or per customer under applicable rules and within the limits published in the sportsbook descriptions. Any cap will be applied at settlement.

7. Palpable errors and platform issues

7.1 Palpable errors

In the event of a clearly erroneous display of odds or event details, Riobet may cancel or adjust the affected bets and notify customers of the outcome. If the bet was placed during live play and is cancelled, the stake is refunded.

7.2 Technical failures

Bets recorded on the server are binding. If a technical failure affects a bet after acceptance, Riobet reserves the right to recalculate or cancel affected bets and refund the stake in full where applicable.

8. Promotions

8.1 Promotions and bonuses

Promotions are governed by the terms published for each promotion. Riobet reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue promotions at any time. Bonuses may be subject to wagering requirements and time limits as described in the promotion terms.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These rules are governed by the laws applicable to Riobet and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts or regulatory bodies having jurisdiction over Riobet under applicable law.
